This is a print showing a brilliantly lit historic house in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. It was mid-winter and this late afternoon sunbeam shone down a neighbouring street to hit the dried garden grasses and side of this charming old house.
It is part my Walking Between Worlds Collection which features Nova Scotia houses seen in late afternoon, magic hour, dusk, and nighttime light. These beautifully transitional moments of light have a liminal quality to them that draws you into another world.
