Spring Walk in a Rainy Park (Green)

As summer turned to fall, and fall to winter, I found myself struck by the silhouettes made by trees out the windows and around the neighbourhood.

When we lived in Montréal, I would often go for walks in the nearby park. This painting captures elegant tree branches reaching skyward on a rainy day in early spring, with puddles on the ground beneath my feet.
