Paper for Kindling

This painting shows a bucket of kindling paper that sits next to the wood stove. Living seasonally in the country means that we enjoy warm fires from fall through to early spring. I loved the colours of the newspapers and the reflective highlights of the metal bucket.

This is an original painting study. Even if you’ve just got a small corner of wall, there are a number of little gems to choose from!

Custom matted in a white mat and ready-to-frame in an 8x8” frame.

I love studies for the life and energy they capture! They show the thought process of the artist and have an intimacy and immediacy to them that finished studio work sometimes doesn’t. They are also a very affordable way to collect original works of art!
