Dusk Farm – Between Cities Series

"Dusk Farm"

This screenprint is part of my Between Cities series – a series based on watching the seasons pass by from the road between the cities of Ottawa and Montreal, Canada. There are many farms on the road between the cities. This piece captures the crisp clarity of a wintery dusk, over one farm to represent the many that have blurred together in my memory.

This print is made up of nine colour layers, including a gradient for the sky. It is printed by hand on quality acid-free paper with a lightly textured finish. The inks have a very matte finish that is beautiful when seen in person.

Above, you can also see a photo of it in my studio before it was trimmed and signed to the version you will receive (see first photo). As well as some process photos of colour mixing and sketchbook memories.

This is a hand-pulled screenprint of my own drawing.

Each print is signed and editioned lightly in pencil across the bottom.

Image size: 9” x 16”

This print will fit in a standard 13x19" frame as-is. It will also fit in a larger 16x20" frame with a photo mat. You may wish to have a custom mat cut for the opening to best display the artwork image.
